Slight Adjustments to Dragon Prodigy

Soul of Air Posted by Soul of Air at 07:24 PM on July 08, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Updates.png picture by av-su-adHi everyone. As some of you may or may not have noticed, the template for the site was changed for about 5-7 hours, earlier today. I was a little tied up trying to find a new layout to fix the bugs with the current template. Sadly, it didn't work out. I also noticed we never had a spare banner in the site storage, therefore, we had to place the winter banner. I'll do my best to find the summer banner, however, I may change it at some point.

In other updates, in the coming days make sure to keep your eyes on the site gallery. I'll be uploading several new wallpapers and one or two new avatar comics.

Finally, the following episodes are NOT working - Chapters 32, 44, 45, 48, 49, 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56 and 57. Someone on the team will definitely try and fix these by the end of this week so we apologise for any delays.

Hope you all have a great week!

Trilogy May Take 6 Years To Complete

Dragon Prodigy Posted by Dragon Prodigy at 02:44 AM on June 30, 2009 Comments comments (0)

According to Frank Marshall and his interview on Starlog, the entire movie adaptation of all three books could take at least six years to complete. Luckily, M.Night Shyamalan isn't rushing anything, according to Frank Marshall.

"Night is now working on the script for the second movie, but he hasn’t had time to write the second or third ones. He’s looking at the arc of all three. One of the things we’ll be doing is using the sets, ships and elements for each different nation in this film and incorporating them into movies two and three. We’re not waiting. There just isn’t enough time. Night will finish this movie, then the script and then we’ll prepare for the next one. I think it’ll probably happen over six years"

iF Magazine Interview M.Night Shyamalan

Dragon Prodigy Posted by Dragon Prodigy at 03:22 PM on June 29, 2009 Comments comments (0)

iF Magazine had the opportunity of interviewing M.Night Shyamalan on the filming set, recently. Below is a small article from the interview.

"iF Magazine: When did you realize, "wow, this is an insane film!"??

Shyamalan: Right away when we were filming in Greenland. It was great filming over there and if I had the all money in the world I would have filmed this movie on location around the world -- but that would be so expensive. It was great shooting in Greenland, in the tundra and to see the actors moving. It felt so real. This is when I realized this was an amazing movie. Also, when I saw the army coming in the village I was overwhelmed by the size and the scope of this film."

The Last Airbender Wrap Up Party

KR Posted by KR at 11:40 AM on June 28, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Well it's done. Filming is now over. It's now off to the CG rooms to film the remaining scenes and probably complete the remaining scenes in front of a blue screen. Below is the remnants from the wrap up party in Philly. (Must've been one heck of a party, if you ask me)

Mike and Bryan to Attend SDCC

KR Posted by KR at 11:28 AM on June 28, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Thinking of attending this years San Diego Comic Con? Well, you'd be glad to know that Mike and Bryan (co-creators of the series) will be attending to take photos and sign autographs for the loyal fans of the series. They're also filming a documentary which possibly reflects on The Last Airbender adaptation and what the series has meant to the fans. The news was officially broken out by Avatar Spirit so the full credit for this news goes to them.

"We will be filming a documentary on the making of the television series, and we'll be taping our interactions with people while they get their new ATLA SDCC '09 posters signed (which I am drawing right now!). The producers of the documentary will be pulling certain people who make a great impression aside to film "testimonials" about what the series has meant to each of them."

The Avatar panel is currently scheduled for Saturday 25th July, between 4pm - 6pm. To check out the full article on Avatar Spirit, CLICK HERE

Jade Quon as Noah Ringer's Stunt Double

Dragon Prodigy Posted by Dragon Prodigy at 03:48 AM on June 28, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Jade Quon (being beautiful as she is) has lead her own name in performing deadly stunts. However, now she's been cast as the stunt double for Noah Ringer.

She also performed as a stunt double in the recent, Star Trek, and, The Pink Panther 2.

She actually does well and I am keen to see the results of all this. To watch her demo reel, CLICK HERE
