Not the Best Reviews...

Dragon Prodigy Posted by Dragon Prodigy at 05:31 AM on January 08, 2009 Comments comments (0)

The movie isn't even out yet but slight reviews are starting to spiral onto the web. On Cinema Blend they made a list of 'Upcoming Movies Nobody Cares About' based on the next two years, and M.Night Shyamalan's upcoming movie, 'The Last Airbender' is within the list of 13. The review is based mainly on the flaws of M.Night's recent career and another possible screw up with this one. Don't let this review fool you though. A lot of you may be seemingly angry because of the casting but nobody can speculate on the success of the movie when it is released. It might turn out better than we image or might not. Only time will tell. For the full list of movies and reviews, CLICK HERE

On other news, It seems Avatar: Into the Inferno on the Nintendo Wii has received a 5.2 as overall score on Vooks. "It is not a terrible game, but it's overly simplistic and suffers the same fate as most licensed games as a result of lazy, seemingly rushed development". Complete Book 3 Box Set - A+ from SciFi Weekly

Dragon Prodigy Posted by Dragon Prodigy at 01:43 PM on September 15, 2008 Comments comments (0)
A reminder that the Avatar: the Last Airbender the complete book 3 collection will be released tomorrow with a five-disc set. This DVD will include ALL of season 3 chapters running from chapter 41 to chapter 61. The DVD received an "A+" from Sci-Fi Weekly on September 2, 2008 and received excellent reviews about the DVD.

The review involves a short well done to the Korean animation studio's for their superb work with the animation of the series.
"The South Korean animation in Avatar is nothing short of remarkable: the backgrounds are vivid and dense, and the characters are fluid and beautifully modeled." As well as the solid gratitude to Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko "the great advantage of DiMartino and Konietzko's three-year plan was that it took all these characters through a series of developments, then wrapped up their stories completely, in ways that were simultaneously hugely cosmic and very personal. They did what they set out to do, and they did it admirably."
